YAMM traces its roots back to Serbia. The founders, master craftsman Bogdan and his wife Milica, moved to Paris in the 1950s, where they began sewing leather and textile garments. Their dedication to detail and top-notch design quickly made them well-known, and they started sewing for the French government, bank directors, and the French postal service.
They opened their first store in Paris, at Rue Beranger 6, which is still in operation today.
They proudly created until the last days of their lives, leaving a significant legacy behind.
Today, after more than 70 years, YAMM continues to thrive and conquer the world.
The business and brand have been passed down from generation to generation, preserving the tradition and quality of handmade craftsmanship.
The founder’s successor, Marija, took over the business and continued to expand the brand worldwide. The brand entered the Italian and Balkan markets by opening a store in the heart of Venice and establishing production in Serbia.
After designing the logo herself, in the shape of a bag of gold coins, thereby contributing to the brand’s recognition, she protected it worldwide as her personal intellectual property.
Today, YAMM is owned by Marija Marković, who proudly continues the family tradition, maintaining a focus on exceptional design, meticulously crafted details, quality, and especially on the selection of the finest materials.
